PDF Forms

Fill interactive PDF fields automatically, or add editable text and marks to scanned and flat forms on your device.

Smart hybrid PDF filling

This hybrid approach matches the experience users expect from professional PDF editors like Adobe Acrobat and DocuSign. Fillable forms are edited directly whenever possible, while scanned or flat PDFs automatically fall back to click-to-place editing. The result is a seamless workflow that requires no manual mode selection and provides the best editing experience for every PDF.

Fill PDF forms and add editable fields online

PDF Forms gives you a practical way to complete digital forms without printing. It reads existing interactive PDF fields when they are available, including text boxes, checkboxes, radio choices and lists. For a scanned or flat PDF without real fields, use click-to-place editing to add text, check marks or crosses exactly where the form needs them. Your completed copy is created in your browser.

Interactive form fields and scanned forms

A true fillable PDF has built-in fields that can be selected and edited. A scanned form is usually just an image, even when it looks like a digital form. PDF Forms handles both: it fills real fields directly and gives you a click-to-place fallback for a flat page.

Create a clear completed copy

Keep your original form unchanged and download a separate completed version. This is useful when you need to correct a date, change an answer or keep a blank copy for your records. Use a readable text size and avoid placing entries over instructions or existing printed text.

Before you download or submit

Review the finished result carefully before using it for office work, an employer, a school, the IRCC portal or another government website. Check page order, dates, names, signatures, readability and the file-size limit for the exact upload form. Keep your original file so you can make changes or provide a clearer copy later.

Can I fill a PDF with text fields, checkboxes and lists?

Yes. When those interactive fields already exist in the PDF, the tool reads them and lets you complete them directly.

Can I use PDF Forms for a scanned form?

Yes. Scanned and flat PDFs do not have interactive fields, so the tool switches to click-to-place editing for text, checks and crosses.

Does PDF Forms create a new copy?

Yes. You download a completed PDF copy while your original file remains unchanged on your device.

Are my form details uploaded?

No. The PDF is processed in your browser. Your selected file and the details you enter are not sent to a PDFDaddy server.
